If you are going to be placing the inclines on Woodland Scenics' risers, gluing them to the risers before cutting them in half will make them much easier to work with, especially at the thin tip of the wedge.
If you are using a glue gun, apply glue to one end of the riser and attach the incline. Line up the zigzags to match on the riser and the incline, this very important. Work your way down the riser applying glue and rolling the incline into place. When you're done, you can proceed to the next step as soon as the glue hardens.
If you are using white glue, mix one or two parts glue to one part water to thin the glue. Then brush it onto the riser. Attach the incline to the riser. Again, lining up the zig zags is very important. Allow the glue to dry completely over night before continuing.
