Bachman 4-8-2 Heavy Mountain in N Scale with DCC

Bachmann has introduced an N scale version of their Spectrum USRA 4-8-2 Heavy Mountain locomotives. The HO Heavy Mountains have one of their more popular HO products in recent years. The introduction of the N scale Heavy Mountains marks the first DCC-equipped N scale steam locomotive offering from Bachmann Industries. The N scale model's features include:

• DCC control for for speed, direction, and lighting
• Electrical pickup from 8 locomotive wheels and all tender wheels
• LED headlight
• die-cast boiler and split frame
• stanchions, pop valves, and whistle detail components
• body-mounted knuckle couplers compatible with popular brands
• NMRA wheel profile

The DCC decoder in the unit, like most decoders, does support DC operations. MSRP $250.
