These are the correct connections for installing a hard-wired DCC decoder into a model locomotive:
Red - Right Rail*
Black - Left Rail*
Orange - Motor Positive Terminal
Grey - - Motor Negative Terminal
White - Forward Headlight
Yellow - Reverse Headlight
Blue = Common/Ground for Headlights
* Directions "Right" and "Left" are based on normal direction of forward travel. Locomotives that are later added to consists can have their normal direction of forward travel reversed if necessary by changing a configuration variable in the decoder.
