Lots of model railroaders have seen the traditional version of a three-dome tank car. It's one of the classic model train set cars. While the cars no longer have the traditional "domes" at the top, multi-compartment tank cars are still a part of railroading.

This is one of them. If you look carefully, you'll see three separate loading hatches along the top of the car. Individual tank capacities are also printed on the sides. And while it may not have a big company logo like most of the classic train set cars, this bright blue tank car still stands out in a consist.
While they are certainly not as common as single tanks, these cars remain a part of the modern railroad scene. Actually, the car ahead in the train is a two-compartment tank. While there are not many mass-produced models of these cars in any scale, with the growing number of cars available a kitbash could be as simple as adding some additional fixtures and extending the safety platforms and railings.
