Having added interior details to several of my HO scale buildings, I'm a firm believer that these often overlooked spaces can really add a lot to any layout. Take this N scale (yes, N scale!) module for example.
Even in N scale, a well stocked hardware store is sure to catch my attention!

Several of the buildings, including this hardware store, feature detailed interior scenes. These are more than just printed cardstock inserts too. Thanks to good LED lighting, all of the tiny details are clearly visible to the N scale window shoppers and full scale crowds as well.
As you can see, from the sidewalks to the rooftops, this is one well detailed down town. But still the first thing that caught my eye were those tiny tools in the windows. So, how well stocked are your stores?
