Model trains are a very big hobby. How do you get started?
There are a few good questions everybody should ask themselves when getting started. What scale do I like? Where can I build a layout? How much do I want to spend? What do I want to model? The questions are important...the answers are not. Whatever you decide will be the right railroad for you.
Like most hobbies, the best way to start is to keep it simple. You don't need to fill an entire house with trains to have fun...though once the train-bug bites you just might!
